I have to get this off my chest and if I offend some people I apologize in advance. I have been trying to figure out where men have gone wrong. I was raised and taught that a “man” provides for himself if he is physically able. He makes sure he has a roof over his head. He ensures that his family will eat. I could keep going on for hours about what a “man” should be doing and what not. Now my problem isn’t with the men who handle their business like a man. My problem is with these “boys” who call themselves men but have no clue as to what a man really is.

This new breed of so-called men that has emerged seem to think that the world owes them something. They lack respect in general. They expect for someone to take care of them while they just sit back and do nothing then complain about their life. Mind you most times they don’t put forth the effort required to make even a slight change in their circumstances. Many of them have to have their hand held to complete simple tasks. I can’t really blame them because it just represents what they were and weren’t taught at home. This isn’t race specific or aimed at a particular area. It happens everyday all around the world.

I wonder what will it take for this new breed to wake up and realize that nobody is gonna take care of them forever. People get tired, especially women, of being used repeatedly. Eventually that door will slam shut and they will be forced to man up!!!!
